Signing in and resetting your password
Nearly all sign-in problems come down to one of three things — a wrong password, an unconfirmed email, or two-step verification. Check them in that order.
Signing in
Sign in with the email address and password you registered. Phone numbers and usernames will not work.
If two-step verification is enabled, a code entry screen appears after your password.
What to check, in order
-
Is the email address right?
If you use several addresses, you may be trying a different one. Searching your mail for our registration confirmation will tell you which address you used.
-
Check how the password was typed
Capitals matter. Use the eye icon to reveal the field and check for stray spaces. Your browser may also be filling in an old saved password.
-
Has your email been confirmed?
If you registered recently and never opened the confirmation email, you will be asked to confirm before continuing.
-
Still locked out? Reset your password
Follow the steps below. Repeated failed attempts temporarily limit further tries, so wait a while before retrying.
Resetting your password
-
Request a reset
Choose "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in screen and enter your registered email address.
-
Enter the code
A confirmation code arrives by email. Check your spam folder if it does not appear.
-
Set a new password
Use at least 8 characters and type the same value in the confirmation field.
Do not reuse a password from another service. For an account that holds money, a password used nowhere else is the single most effective protection.
If the reset email does not arrive
| Check | What to do |
|---|---|
| Spam folder | Mark the message as not spam |
| Wrong address remembered | Try the reset with your other addresses |
| Carrier email filtering | Allow our domain in your carrier settings |
If none of these work, open a support ticket. Please include the name and phone number registered on the account.
Changing your email address
You cannot change your registered email address yourself, because it is tied to your verification record. Please request it through a support ticket.
